Psalms 133:1 NIV How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity!

Father God I am blessed to be a part of a loving family. As Abraham is to Lot, Jesus is to Mary, Ruth is to Naomi, and the disciples are to Jesus, I have a family united by a love that is truly special. Help us each to draw near to You with open hearts. Help us to be the mirror of Godly love lived out; being patient and kind, speaking affirming words that draw the best from one another. Let us embed the word of God into our hearts speaking it back to one another as encouragement for life’s journey. When trials come, let us be reminded that we should not be afraid, for though art with us, that we will be strengthened and upheld by the never-ending power of Your righteousness, oh God. Let prayer remain a constant support for times when wise counsel is needed. May each member of this united family continue to seek You daily, oh Lord. And with reverence to Your son Jesus, shedding those things that weigh us down and opening our hearts to more of who You are. May our unity bring about the cultivation of a family that gives You glory. In Jesus name, Amen.
